Last night Livia Firth attended the 20th Bravo Business Awards hosted by the Latin Trade Group at The Marriott Marquis Hotel in Miami. This annual event, which is regarded as the ‘Oscars of Latin American Business’, celebrates influential leaders for their achievements and contributions in the Americas.
Livia was there to present Caroline Scheufele, Creative Director and Co-President of Chopard, with the Environmentalist of the Year Award in recognition for her role in launching The Journey To Sustainable Luxury, in partnership with Eco-Age.
The Journey to Sustainable Luxury is a multi-year programme created for Chopard by Eco-Age in 2012. The Journey started in Colombia, where Chopard invested in an innovative programme to take artisanal mining communities to Fairmined certification. This is bringing positive change to small scale South American mining communities and leading the way to the sustainable development of other artisanal miners.
