Chopard, Eco-Age and Gemfields have launched a new partnership to aim to improve sustainability in the coloured gemstone industry, focussing first on emeralds and specifically the way in which they are mined.

The partnership was launched at Cannes Film Festival 2016, when Julianne Moore wore the latest pieces from the Green Carpet Collection down the red carpet. The partnership was also celebrated at an intimate lunch in Cannes.
