Stella McCartney

The London 2014 Stella McCartney Green Carpet Collection is the first complete collection by a designer to be awarded the GCC® Brandmark by Eco-Age.

This is the first time a sole designer created an entire capsule collection according to the GCC® Brandmark, a guarantor of social, ethical and sustainable excellence. Adhering to the highest environmental standards using only materials that are either recycled or sustainably certified, the 13 exclusive evening looks celebrated delicate femininity and bold graphic abstraction.

Each aspect of the collection has been dedicated to creating fashion that respects the environment as much as possible ensuring zero deforestation, supporting ethical production, working towards carbon reduction, reusing and recycling of archival fabrics, ensuring the use of organic materials and through the sourcing decisions made.

Revealed at a star-studded event hosted by Livia Firth, Natalie Massenet, Stella McCartney and Anna Wintour, the collection encapsulated the ethos of both Stella McCartney and the GCC®.

The collection retailed exclusively on Net-a-Porter and in Stella McCartney flagship stores and online.
