The Football Association

The Consultancy designed an Environmental Management System (EMS) for The FA in line with the award-winning EMS created for Wembley, and supported FA staff with initial implementation. Its scope encompassed both The FA’s activities at its headquarters (Wembley Stadium) and off-site, while core areas of focus included reducing The FA’s carbon footprint, and integrating sustainability across procurement activities.

Following this, Eco-Age worked on a project enabling The FA to demonstrate environmental leadership to its members by conducting the first ever environmental survey of County Football Associations (CFAs). Eco-Age identified the clear efficiency benefits of ‘going green’ and designed a fun, football-themed communications campaign to support the results of the case studies.
