Yes, I’m having a Rita Hayworth moment! Here we are just about to leave for the BAFTAs earlier this evening. Every time I think I can’t find a better dress for the Green Carpet Challenge, I find a better dress! You will, of course, be the ultimate judge, but I absolutely love this Nina Skarra dress.

The dress is incredibly simple and yet full of detail – the tiny buttons on one side of the body and on the long sleeves and those bows at the side.

I’ve gone for simple jewellery so as not to detract from the lines of the dress, in the form of small diamond studs by one of the leading lights in the UK ethical jewellery industry – Ingle and Rhode. These earrings are made using traceable Canadian diamonds, set in ethically sourced 18ct white gold from Argentina – produced without the use of cyanide or mercury under Fair Trade principles.
