Last weekend at the Green Carpet Challenge, we played out our own little fairy-tale as HRH Crown Princess of Norway Mette Marit became the first royal to take up the Green Carpet Challenge.
Attending the wedding of Prince Guillaume of Luxembourg and Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg at the Cathedral of our Lady of Luxembourg, HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore a beautiful Pucci dress made by the talented Peter Dundas for the GCC.
The elegant red gown was created using the GCC criteria, with organic silk georgette, crepone and organic silk organza and then finished intricately with 100% recycled glass beads.
We have been delighted to have HRH Crown Princess Mette Marit on board with the GCC, and sustainable fashion is a subject close to her heart. We were also very pleased to hear that, post-GCC, she is now considering all her outfits in a sustainable light!
