Management Accountant

We are seeking an outstanding Management Accountant to run the day to day finance operations, support the CFO and the business in moving forward and delivering commercial and financial analysis to aid decision making. 

You will have sound commercial instincts, excellent attention to detail and excellent presentation and communication skills with a minimum of 2 years in media business finance preferably in a PR agency or consultancy.

You will also have at least a 2.1 degree and be either fully or part-qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA.

You are a team player who is calm under pressure, managing priorities in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines. You have an inquisitive mind and good business acumen and are to work on your own and use your initiative. A voracious appetite for sustainability and pushing the agenda for ethical and social responsibility is also desirable.

The responsibilities of the role are:

  • Statutory Accounts and Tax – support
  • Management Accounts – preparation, reconciliation, journals, accruals, prepayments 
  • Client Analysis - profitability, pricing, preparation
  • Business Planning - Budget & Forecast. support
  • Timesheets Monthly reporting and analysis - preparation
  • Cash Flow (12 week) - preparation 
  • Client Billing & Accounts Receivable - preparation, follow up with account managers 
  • Accounts Payable - preparation for approval, payment, manage supplier relationships 
  • Taxes : VAT, EC sales reports , Paye/NI reconciliation and payment 
  • Expense Reports - review and approval 
  • Credit Cards -reconciliation and posting 
  • Bank Accounts -reconciliation and posting 
  • Administer Subscriptions - echnology services, periodicals etc  

Company systems include Xero,  Receiptbank, Tsheets , Soldo, Expensify, Monday, Dropbox
