Bathroom cleaner by KINN living
KINN living makes certified organic, natural and plant-based cleaning products in the UK. Its range is also vegan and cruelty-free, perfect if you’re looking for a #veganuary swap. The bathroom cleaner is pefectly formulated to remove limescale and grime, and to leave your bathroom sparkling and smelling fresh (all natural fragrance of course).
Washing up liquid by Ecover
Ecover is another innovative UK-based, B-Corp certified company that makes plant-based and biodegradable cleaning products. Ecover is aiming to make all its bottles out of 100% recycled plastic by 2020 and has announced plans to move towards biodegradable bottles after that. Most bottles are already being made with post-consumer waste, including the washing up liquid that we use at Eco-Age HQ too! You can also refill their products at stations across the UK as the bottles can be re-used more than 50 times.
Splosh – refillable cleaning products
If you’ve run out of your conventional cleaning products and are looking to buy a set, look no further than Splosh refillable cleaning products. The first time you order a set of cleaning prdoucts in bottles (anything for laundry, dishwashing and home cleaning) and after that you only order refill pouches, which you can send back for Splosh to re-use. All products are cruelty-free.
Washing Powder by Bio-D
All of Bio-D‘s products are certified vegan, cruelty-free and hypoallergenic. The company only uses recyclable packaging and the washing powder comes in a recycled paper bag. The powder can be used for machine or handwashing alike, so if your wool jumpers need taking care of you can trust this guy.
Dish brush by EcoCoconut
Sadly a lot of sponges contain plastic and plastic microfibres, which break off and pollute water systems. If you’re asking yourself what you could possibly use instead of a sponge to do your dishes (we’ve been there) the best solution is a dish brush made from coconut fibre. They are entirely biodegradable, highly durable and non-scratch. You can also complement the set with a pot brush, bottle brush and straw brush.

At some point in your life you’ve probably owned a plastic toilet brush (no judgement here, we all have), but if you’re looking to swap it out with a more eco-friendly option try this wooden brush made from beachwood and natural bristles.
