HRH Princess Beatrice of York, Donna Karan, Carmen Busquets and Christopher Bevans attended a reception last night to celebrate the launch of The Commonwealth Fashion Exchange exhibit at New York’s FIT.
Hosts Livia Firth, Nadja Swarovski, MATCHESFASHION.COM’s Ulric Jerome and The Woolmark Company’s Michelle Lee, were joined by guests from the world of art and fashion at the Fashion Institute of Technology – where an installation of Commonwealth Fashion Exchange looks is now on display.
The free exhibition is open to the public at the newly renovated Pomerantz Building until October 8th, following a runway preview to guests of F4D’s First Ladies Luncheon earlier this week, during which the collection was showcased for the first time outside of the UK.
A selection of designs from the collection are also being auctioned for charity now on Paddle8. All proceeds from the auction sales will be donated to The Fashion Institute of Technology’s Innovation Fund and NEST. Select pieces are also being sold online at MATCHESFASHION.COM.
